Transurban Community Grants - October 2017

Submissions closed at midnight 5 November 2017 (AEDT).

TRANSURBAN COMMUNITY GRANTS

Transurban community grants are available for up to $5,000 for projects that generate social and environmental benefits for communities in which our Australian roads operate. Grants are open to a wide range of organisations and initiatives. Past grant recipients have included road safety initiatives, disability services organisations, youth and community education programs, food distribution, homeless support and housing services, emergency services, arts groups, school and kindergarden projects and land care initiatives.

Applications are reviewed with a preference for the following criteria:

  • The benefit for communities close to our roads
  • Ability to achieve lasting benefits
  • The potential to positively effect a large number of people or drive significant environmental outcomes
  • The potential to help overcome barriers to transport, mobility and community inclusion
  • The potential to improve the lives of disadvantaged or underprivileged groups
  • How specific the application is about the grant’s intended use and expected outcomes
  • Whether the grant will help realise community benefits that may not otherwise be possible.

The above criteria are weighted equally and applications are assessed a panel of representatives from across the business.

Go to https://www.transurban.com/sustainability/community-grants to view further guidelines and eligibility requirements.

For queries about the guidelines, deadlines, or questions in the form, please contact us at grants@transurban.com and quote your application number.

ATTACHMENTS AND SUPPORT DOCUMENTS

You may need to upload/submit attachments to support your application. You need to allow enough time for each file to upload before trying to attach another file. Files can be up to 25MB each; however, we do recommend trying to keep files to a maximum of 5MB – the larger the file, the longer the upload time.
